Just
Trading
is an independent shop in the centre of Wallingford, Oxfordshire, supplying fair trade goods,
organic wholefoods, environmental products and information.
We are
a workers’ co-operative, aiming to make it easier for people to obtain
fairly traded items and adopt a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
We supply high quality food, clothes, gifts, paper and household products. Buying organic rice, oats, beans, nuts, seeds and dried fruit in bulk keeps the prices way down, often below the cost of equivalent non-organic goods. Quality and taste are superb and packaging is minimal.
The Bun House supplies fresh locally-baked bread and buns on Saturdays, and since October 2011 we were joined by Wool and Willow, a speciality shop selling local, British and fair trade yarns and bespoke willow ware.

We
started trading on 14th November 2005 because treating the environment
with respect and dealing fairly with people who produce our food and
clothes are very important to us.
There was nowhere
in the town where we could buy a wide range of fairly traded food and
clothes and organic food and toiletries. Our aim is to show people that
you can make these changes to your lifestyle even on a limited income.
We moved from the High Street to St Marys Street in November 2010. Just Trading was joined in October 2011 by Wool and Willow, a speciality shop selling local, British and fair trade yarns and bespoke willow ware.
